No picture or HDMI port damage
If the TV says no signal, the HDMI port is a common cause on both PS4 and PS5. We test the port, cable and TV output first.
Overheating, loud fan or shutting off
Dust and blocked vents are frequent causes. A PS4 that sounds like a jet engine usually needs cleaning or a fan check.
Disc drive won’t read or eject
Games won’t load, discs won’t go in or come out. We inspect the drive and laser. The PS5 Digital Edition has no disc drive.
Won’t turn on or blinking light
A console that gives a blue or white blinking light and then shuts off needs its power supply and power path checked.
Controller port or charging problems
We check the console’s USB ports and your controller’s charging.
