This is a general guide, not a diagnosis. A technician has to look at the computer.
Switch it off straight away
Power running through a wet phone is what does the most damage.
Don’t charge it
Plugging it in can cause a short circuit. Leave it off and dry.
Don’t use heat
A hairdryer or oven can damage parts. Wipe the outside and leave it.
Don’t shake it or press buttons
This can push water further inside.
Bring it in soon
Corrosion builds up over days. The sooner it’s inspected, the better the chances.
What we do

We open the phone and look for water and corrosion on the board and parts.
Tell you what’s possible
We tell you whether a repair looks possible and what it will cost before any work starts.
Check what else is affected
